_____I agree with Relativityboy and say that dame needs NO retouching. I’m guessing that those meddling bastards of the media can’t help but changing things. They really are bastards, too–screwing things up JUST BECAUSE THEY CAN. “Oh darn! The sky is not BLUE enough! Let’s photoshop it.” Or, try this. “Her boobs are too big. Shrink!” It won’t be long before we’re stuck with glossy magazines full of plastic-looking things that look ugly compared to real girls. Maybe that’s their goal.

It would look so bad to see magazine with a disclaimer : The pictures may not reflect its original content. We cannot ban it since a majority wanna see perfect people… but we should teach our child as they grow up that pics are retouched 95% of the time. that they cannot be perfect but taking care of our body is a good thing!

Wow I guess I had my head in the sand as I didn’t know that most photos were retouched like this. Amazing. Pretty sad in some ways because people do try to mimic others in the way they look and they will never attain that look. Wow.
That’s not the same thing. Retouching is the digital equivalent to plastic surgery. This is totally different from wearing makeup. Makeup doesn’t change nose length, waist width, or enlarge/shrink any part of the body.
I’m sorry if I offended you with the first comment, but you really should be careful about how you express your opinions.
